New to civics, or just want a gentle warm-up? Start with the original U.S. naturalization test questions:
Content based on Florida's own high school civics standards (civics360.org), organized into 46 topics across 12 units - built specifically to prepare for the Florida Civic Literacy Exam (FCLE).
For those who have not had an undergraduate "Intro to Political Science" course, or perhaps an "AP: US Government" (or a similar) high school course, most of the material covered on the FCLE will be unfamiliar based on the published list of topics. I have not taken the FCLE myself as of the creation of this page.
Most colleges have hobbled together their own collection of study material (including even referring undergrads to the Naturalization test above). This page is my own attempt to study for the FCLE in hopes of passing.
Give yourself time with the Flashcards (Learn by Topic) and the Four Competency Video Flashcards before taking the Topic Quiz / Full Exam Simulator.
Also drawn directly from the four official FCLE competency areas themselves (with linked and embedded videos for each topic):
All of this material is provided as-is and has been collected from various sources, including AI. This is not an official or professional FCLE study guide and may include factual errors. Use at your own risk.
